DECEMBER was unusually dry — like the rest of 2016.
The total rainfall of 14mm made it the second driest December in Shiplake for more than 45 years.
The year’s total of 612mm was 50mm below the average.
Temperatures in December were more than a degree above the average, ranging from -7C to 14C. There were 10 frosts.
My thanks, as always, to Denis Gilbert, from Shiplake, for the statistics.
