PARISH councillors in Charvil are to create a village plan.
The document will take into account the views of residents on the future of the village and will inform future developments and major spending in the parish.
It will be drafted by Councillor James Bell and be taken to the annual parish meeting in May.
The parish council is also to write to Wokingham Borough Council about the Charvil sites listed in the borough’s local plan.
This plan, which is expected to be completed by 2019, will say where new housing, business and leisure developments should go in the next 20 years.
It lists more than 200 sites, including four in Charvil: land to the east and west of Park View Drive North; to the west of Park Lane; and to the west of Norris Green (all for housing) and and Wallys mobile home park in New Bath Road, which has been suggested for use as a travellers’ site.
The parish council will give its view on each site with comments on the local infrastructure, public transport, roads and, where necessary, pollution.
